| Flotilla 65 of the Coast Guard Auxiliary is a group of dedicated men and women ready to serve the South Florida boating community. We Directly support the Coast Guard in all of its missions except military and law enforcement actions. Members are eligible to receive the world's finest on-the-water training. Advanced training programs in Navigation, seamanship, Communications, Weather, Patrols, Administration and Search & Rescue are available as well as courses from the Coast Guard Institute. Other benefits include the Coast guard Credit Union and Exchanges plus insurance coverage. The pride of wearing the Auxiliary uniform is amplified by the Auxiliary awards system. Over 34,000 volunteer Auxiliarists, nation-wide, actively patrol our waterways and regularly meet with the boating public at marinas and in classrooms. Vessel Safety Checks - We offer voluntary marine examinations of vessels to insure that your next boating activity will be a safe one for you and your family. Safety At Sea - We patrol local waters under orders of the U.S. Coast Guard, and our function as a public service, is to assist anyone who finds themselves in trouble. Fellowship - Shipmates and their families get together on special occasions as an extended family.
