Award Winning Coast Guard Auxiiary Flotilla 65 is
offering the "Boating Skills and Seamanship Program"

The program series consists of two parts:

The Core Program
  • Which boat is for you
  • Equipment for your boat
  • Trailoring your boat
  • Handling your boat
  • Your "Highway" signs
  • The rules you must follow
  • Inland Boating
  • The rest of our story
Additional Chapters offered:
  • Introduction to navigation
  • Powering your boat
  • Lines and knots for your boat
  • Weather and Boating
  • Your boat's radio

Florida Boating Safety I.D. cards and Certificates of completion will be awarded to those who have completed the program. These may also be instrumental in reducing your boating insurance premium. The completion of the program is also prerequisite to all who wish to become members of the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary.
